Good News, Everyone! I made a ( video ) on YouTube. It was a little different for me. I'm pretty sure that everyone of my friends who has an LJ probably hasn't heard from me in a while. I'm not dead.

I'm sitting right now in a Hooters. I know right...why would I be here? I figure most of you have thought me dead for a while. I'm taking time off from school. I'm just working at Lenscrafters. It's been interesting. I've been sent to a couple of other stores occasionally, like in Menomonee Falls and over by Southridge Mall. I was driving home and I just wanted to drink because I almost got into a scuffle at work with some guys who were trying to steal right at the end of the night. Nothing happened, but my boss assumed I would probably end up getting shot. Well, that is all. Dan Friggin' Grabowski, signing off.

So, I am spending another infinite day in the 8th Note. I even have a set of clothing here. I am kind of content socially, I think. I hang out with the same group of people over and over again. The only problem is my hunger to date someone. I actually haven't done much of it and that is what I would want to do. I met a lot of people at the 8th Note that I could be dating and I again took the initiative to at least try to date them. Her name is Natalie. She is pretty interesting. I can talk with her for a long time and not feel awkward. So, at least, this is a good sign. I hope to get to know her a little better. This is Dan Grabowski, signing off again.

Shit. I was very excited earlier in the week because the Student Association President Rob Grover vetoed the latest editions of bylaws for the Student Appropriations Committee.  They really fuck over a lot of student orgs. Dan Bahr, the Speaker of the Senate, sent an e-mail to our chief justice in order to get the veto-override vote passed as a majority. I would have to disagree with what went on there because there are no checks and balances with our student government. So, I am going to spend a good portion of today freaking out about all the shit that I was worried about before.

So, I have been unable to really fall asleep properly tonight. I don't know why. I can only conjecture.

Maybe, it's because of the dehydration from drinking last night. I dealt with the hangover by drinking water mostly all day. I even had a Prairie Oyster to cure the hangover, which incidentally worked. I guess that isn't the cause then.

Maybe, it's guilt. I didn't do the vacuuming  and my mom is having a Silpada(?) party. I have to clean the house tomorrow because of whatever my mom is doing. 

I am feeling woozy at moment and I do feel mighty thirsty. I have been drinking water ever since I woke up. I read the comics I usually do. Everything except Dr. McNinja and Girls With Slingshots. I got to read the new Tales of MU. I like the story. It is a well thought out universe. Basically, it's the journal of a girl who is half-human going to a magic university. If you took everything that we have and mirror it in a magical setting, it's there. Instead of using a computer to internet surf, think crystal ball gazing. I really like the story because dialog flows so well. I think about the only reason it  might not do well mainstream is that it blatantly goes into a lot of fetishes. But, the way in which it is done is superb.

I'm getting woozy again. I'm going to lay down again.

Anywho, I'm about to take an interview over the phone for Lenscrafters. They are just extremely slow there. It took them forever to get me to this point. But, they are really nice over there. I think the girls there really like me. I mean REALLY like me. I mean like trying-to-get-in-my-pants-with-me-still-in-them like me. This is absolutely ridiculous. I only hope I get the job because the sweet pay would be awesome. If I get the job, I am taking my first paycheck, going to an open and secluded space, tossing it up in the air, and rolling in the mad money that I made. Who cares if it is just a check. At $10/hour with 25 hours a week, I would make about $700-800 a month. I didn't even add the commission I can make on top of that. I just hope I do well with this personality test over the phone. I will know what is going on within 24 hours! Wish me luck.

So, I know it has been a while, but I finally have found/given time once again to Livejournaling. As some of you may know, I am currently looking at the prospect of a new job. I have to give a call to Lenscrafters today and find out about more information. I would be an eyewear consultant probably looking at helping the optometrist mostly. I really need this job. $10/hour and commission on top of that. It would SO sweet.

Another of the many things preventing me from doing this was just myself. I have been thinking about a lot of stuff dealing with my old internet habits and this may have been reminding me of them. But, that was a completely retarded line of thought to have because this never lead to anything but good. I was always able to see what my friends were up to and could always talk to them. 

I finally wrote the response e-mail to an old teacher of mine. I wrote to Mr. Flurry in December and got a response fairly quickly after that. I kept pushing off the e-mail because I just didn't know what to write back. I talked about mainly what happened for two years, not going into the subjects of personal life beyond school. I didn't talk about partying or girls too much. I will probably have to talk about those soon maybe. I can't believe I never kept in touch with him after I graduated. He was a very close mentor and a friend. I could have easily visited him because he used to live over on the east side.

Beyond that, I haven't done much else today. I watched Clerks and am working on 3 different sudoku puzzles while reading Tales of MU. It's a pretty decent fiction. It goes from the personal account of a girl going to a magical college. Her roommate is lesbian dwarf/nymph/dragon/elf/human who only eats pudding pops.
